Elizabeth Rocking Horse Our classic Elizabeth Rocking Horse is an heirloom toy sure to please for generations to come. It is crafted of southern yellow pine with a mane and tail of real woolen yarn. The horse is sized for larger children, on the order of 3 to 7 years of age. It stands 37" high with a floor-to-seat height of 25". The overall length of the rockers is 43 inches. The assembly includes a durable glue and dowel construction to provide a
strong framework for a long life. Each of the rockers are cut from a single piece of
wood rather than the jointed rockers common elsewhere. These rockers are smoothly
shaped to rock without bumps or flat spots. All surfaces are carefully
sanded and the edges are rounded over. It has been stained to a walnut brown and sealed
with several coats of polyurethane.
