Audrey Rocking Horse Our classic Audrey Rocking Horse is an heirloom toy sure to please for generations to come. It is crafted of solid red oak with a mane and tail of real sorrel horse hair.That bright shiney eye is made of Texas Mesquite. This horse is sized for most children of 1 to 4 years of age. It stands 26" high with a floor-to-seat height of 18". The overall length of the rockers is 43 inches, and the rockers are recurved on the ends to resist overturning by an enthusiastic rider. The assembly includes a durable glue and dowel construction to provide a
strong framework for a long life. Each rocker is cut from a single piece of
wood rather than the jointed rockers common elsewhere. These rockers are smoothly
shaped to rock without bumps or flat spots. All surfaces are carefully
sanded and the edges are rounded over. The final finish is a hand-rubbed natural Danish oil.
