Brightly colored Male Mallards
These are delicate mobiles of the colorful male Mallard duck. Mallards are common among the birds in our south Texas flyway in the fall and spring. The necks and heads of my birds are dyed bright green and their bills are yellow. They are approximately 10" from bill to tail and 16" from wingtip to wingtip. The wood is Texas Water Oak with a clear satin polyurethane finish.
I make each of these birds individually and each is different depending on the grain patterns and various natural imperfections and spalting that I find in the wood. If you order one, what you receive will be very similar to those in the photos, but will not look exactly like any. I think that you will be happy with them - if not, contact me and we will discuss it.
